We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team at a day care centre for the elderly in the Southend area. As a Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and companionship to our clients who may be socially isolated.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with clients in meaningful activities and entertainment to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Provide personal care assistance, including grooming, toileting, and feeding, as needed.
Assist with mobility and transfer tasks for clients with physical disabilities.
Monitor and document clients' well-being and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure the highest quality of care and support for all clients.
Requirements:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in a day care centre or residential care setting.
Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment.
