JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this role is to efficiently manage the provision of care within Brook Care Home, a small home consisting of 20 beds

Duties:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the care home
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality care for residents, personalized care plans
• Supervise and train staff members
• Coordinate and monitor resident care plans to ensure individual needs are met
• Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and well-being
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Manage budgets and resources effectively
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 5 or equivalent
• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and dementia care
• Familiarity with regulations and guidelines governing nursing homes or assisted living facilities
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to make critical decisions under pressure
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: To be discussed

Schedule:

• Flexitime
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Rochford, SS4 1HN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
