Registered Manager at Brook Care Home

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this role is to efficiently manage the provision of care within Brook Care Home, a small home consisting of 20 beds

Duties:

Oversee and manage the daily operations of the care home
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality care for residents, personalized care plans
Supervise and train staff members
Coordinate and monitor resident care plans to ensure individual needs are met
Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and well-being
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Manage budgets and resources effectively
Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

NVQ Level 5 or equivalent
Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and dementia care
Familiarity with regulations and guidelines governing nursing homes or assisted living facilities
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to make critical decisions under pressure
Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
