About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Night Senior Carer to join our friendly and supportive team in Westcliff on Sea. As a Senior Carer, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standard of care is provided to our residents throughout the night, promoting their dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Main Responsibilities
Oversee the night shift, ensuring all care staff deliver person-centred support in line with individual care plans
Assist residents with personal care needs, including washing, dressing, and toileting
Administer medication in accordance with company policies and procedures
Conduct regular checks on residents and respond promptly to any emergencies or changes in their condition
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and handover notes
Work closely with families and external professionals, ensuring clear and compassionate communication
Night cleaning duties are completed with a good standard of IPC.
About You
Previous experience in a senior care assistant or similar role is essential
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care
Willingness to work permanent night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays

Shift Times and Days
The shift commences at 19:00 and concludes at 07:15. All shifts operate on a rotational basis; however, we ensure regular scheduling for every other weekend.
