Mountdale Nursing Home is a friendly 22-bed care home located in Leigh, near the fire station. We are currently looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and compassionate Activity Organiser to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents by planning and delivering engaging, meaningful, and person-centred activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with older people and has a passion for bringing joy, stimulation, and social interaction into their daily lives.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering a varied programme of activities
Encouraging resident participation and social engagement
Supporting residents' emotional, physical, and cognitive wellbeing
Working closely with the care team to tailor activities to individual needs
