JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this role is to efficiently manage the provision of care within Brook Care Home, a small home consisting of 20 beds
Duties:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the care home
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality care for residents, personalized care plans
- Supervise and train staff members
- Coordinate and monitor resident care plans to ensure individual needs are met
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 5 or equivalent
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and dementia care
- Familiarity with regulations and guidelines governing nursing homes or assisted living facilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to make critical decisions under pressure
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
